Throughout The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Mia Thornton paraded around town with her new boyfriend, Inc. It seemed like she was fully ready to let go of Gordon Thornton. She even name-dropped her new boo in her tagline. She quipped, “Marriage can be temporary, but Inc is permanent.”
With that in mind, we were shocked when Mia showed up at the Season 9 reunion and told the group that she split from Inc. However, in true Mia fashion, there’s more to the story. Mia and Inc are still close — they just aren’t romantic.
RHOP’s Mia Thornton split from Inc, but they remain friends
When Mia announced her split from Inc, she insinuated that it was partially because Inc wasn’t interested in being featured on RHOP. Supposedly, it didn’t “align with his brand.” She also called out the fact that she’s still legally married to Gordon.
Despite all of those theatrics, Mia recently sat down with her ex on an episode of his show, Posted on the Corner. During the episode, she called Inc her “best friend.” They also didn’t rule out a potential reconciliation later down the road.
“I love you dearly. And you’ll always be a pivotal part of my life,” Mia told her on-again, off-again partner.
“And I am letting go and just allowing God to navigate our future. Like if we are forever then it’ll happen. There’s no rushing,” she continued.
Surely it’s just a coincidence that Mia also just hinted that she made a full-time move to Atlanta, where Inc lives. In a recent Instagram post, she teased that she was starting a new chapter. She said, “We LOVE it here.”
