Teddi Mellencamp’s friends and family have been rallying behind her as she continues her battle against cancer. As challenging and overwhelming as it must be, she’s also got a great support system. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum should also be commended for her unwavering sense of positivity.
In the past several months, Teddi’s treatment took an intense turn as tumors were discovered on her brain and lungs. She underwent brain surgery in February 2025, and since then has been doing treatments, including radiation therapy. It’s got to be hard to stay positive, but Teddi is doing just that. And her former RHOBH co-star, and dear friend, Kyle Richards spoke to that during a recent interview.

Kyle told Extra how Teddi uses positivity to lighten the situation. Kyle also believes that her friend will triumph over cancer and return to her prior self.
“She has some rough days right now going through radiation and the immunotherapy, but, you know, you know Teddi. She is a really strong girl and I do believe she’s going to come out the other side of this, so lots of prayers and positive vibes for her,” Kyle shared.
April is bittersweet for Teddi. The accountability coach finished her chemo treatment and is looking forward to healing her body. However, doctors discovered four new tumors after an emergency MRI.
Kyle explained how her former RHOBH co-star is keeping the mood light against the severity of her situation. The Bravolebrity said, “She does. She’s very positive. She has these group chats that she names, and I’m like, ‘Teddi, this is not …’ You know, she likes to poke fun of the situation because that’s the only way to get through something like this.”
Teddi continues her immunotherapy. She continues to receive an outpouring of support from fans and family (and Reality Tea).
