Lindsay Hubbard started putting two and two together on the last episode of Summer House. She found out, by proxy of her friend Gabby Prescod’s conversation with Lil Aronoff, that her Carl Radke was speaking with another woman while still engaged to the former publicist.
On Season 9 Episode 8, Carl’s new crush Lil admitted to sliding into his DM’s “last summer” before he broke his engagement to Lindsay off. Gabby relayed the information to Lindsay, who imploded at the news. That storyline left off on a cliffhanger of sorts as Lindsay promised to confront Carl about it at a future time.

E! News shared an exclusive sneak peek of the moment. While the cast kickball game was not the right venue, Lindsay chose a group dinner to confront him. The conversation piggybacked off Carl’s admission to the group that he had broken his dry spell and went on a date with Lil the week prior. The Soft Bar + Cafe founder shared that they didn’t quite vibe that well.
“So that was your first date with her,” Lindsay addressed Carl. “Because it’s come to my attention that you’ve been talking to her since last summer.”
Carl insisted that the timeline was entirely innocent. He said that he and Lil started speaking in the fall, after his breakup from Lindsay in August 2023. The former publicist asked Carl to “prove it” by showing “the receipts.” Meanwhile, the Summer House cast reacted in shock to the argument.
Lindsay continued, “Your little girlfriend is going around saying that you guys have been messaging since last summer before we were ever broken up. ’Let me go for a girl who messages me while I’m engaged to be married.’”
“You have a terrible judge of f*cking character,” she added, “and now we’re supposed to feel bad for you that your date went south? You go around acting like a victim like you haven’t been on any dates. You’ve been talking to this girl since before we broke up.”
