It’s the best kind of Bravo crossover action since the birth of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. One cancer survivor giving a fellow cancer warrior advice on how to practice self-care. Teddi Mellencamp recently revealed a conversation with Summer House star Jesse Solomon during which they discussed how to approach the day-to-day physical fallout of radiation treatment.
Jesse is a two-time testicular cancer survivor and brought awareness to the issue while on Summer House. He’s proving a good friend and valuable resource to Teddi, who has been battling brain cancer since February 2025 and melanoma since 2022.
Jesse Solmon gave “good advice” about cancer to Teddi Mellencamp
“Guess who I’ve been messaging back-and-forth with about cancer? Jesse Solomon. He’s actually given me a lot of good advice,” Teddi told co-host Tamra Judge on the April 9 episode of their Two T’s in a Pod podcast.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared the details of their conversation. The accountability coach is known for keeping a rigorous workout routine, and has had to pull back in recent months.
“What I asked him, I said, ‘During the times you were in treatment, not feeling good, did you lay in bed or did you go do stuff? This is where I’m really struggling,’” Teddi explained. “He said, ‘Every day was like a completely different day. I would make plans and then not be able to do it. But then sometimes, I would go out and feel normal and do all the regular things. Then on the days that I didn’t, I just relax.’”
Teddi has been advised by doctors not to ride horses at this time. But she’s gotten the green light to do most other activities. The RHOBH alum said her medical team told her to listen to her body and do “whatever you feel the best doing is going to help you get better the fastest.”
“Because you’re doing what your body wants,” the podcast host added. “But either way, it was very nice of him to message me.”
