Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was tough for Kyle Richards. She was navigating her separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky. Plus, she was slammed for texting with her RHOBH co-star Dorit Kemsley’s estranged husband, PK Kemsley. So, after a bruising RHOBH reunion, is Kyle ready to leave the show?
Kyle Richards on leaving RHOBH: “That day will come”
During the RHOBH reunion, Kyle was in the hot seat as she tried to salvage her friendship with Dorit. Plus, host Andy Cohen also questioned her about her friendship with singer Morgan Wade.
So, after such a draining reunion, is Kyle leaving RHOBH? “As more time goes on, I did not think I’d be here. I remember thinking, year five, I’d be out,” Kyle told Parade. “Here I am going on year 15, so of course, that day will come. It just depends on how I’m feeling at the time and if I can handle it anymore.”
However, her experience as a housewife came in handy for her guest-starring role in Wild Cards. Kyle plays Talia, a “glamorous reality TV veteran.” However, acting and being on RHOBH are not the same. “It feels very different. When you’re playing a character versus, you know, you’re just sitting there as yourself,” Kyle stated. “I won’t always be doing reality television, but I hope to always be acting and producing television like I’ve been doing, and that’s what brings me the greatest joy.”
Reportedly, an insider claimed that Kyle was interested in coming back to RHOBH. “A big reason she wants to come back is because she doesn’t want her legacy to end on a sour note,” a source alleged. “She doesn’t want to go out the way LVP [Lisa Vanderpump] did.”
As of now, Kyle hasn’t officially announced whether she is returning for Season 15 of RHOBH. But I have a feeling that she will be holding her diamond next season.
