For 14 seasons, Kyle Richards has been at the helm of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As an OG, she’s seen it all: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Usually, she was on the outside of most drama, and if she wasn’t, it was harmless. But the last few years have shown Kyle in quite the pickle as she navigates the end of her 27-year marriage. It wasn’t necessarily the looming divorce that turned fans against her but more so the constant hypocritical remarks about her friend, Morgan Wade, and their relationship.

It is also a time when Andy Cohen can ask the hard questions while the ladies are in the hot seat. As part two of the tell-all aired, the Bravo kingpin wasted no time in grilling Kyle about her decision not to film with her friend/possible love interest. The episode picks up with Garcelle Beauvais sharing that she felt like the off-camera chat about Morgan, the one who can’t be named, was all a farce.
The host doesn’t miss his moment to point out that Morgan is a performer, after all. He notes that many of her songs often mention liking older women and that the country singer became a household name only after she appeared in RHOBH Season 13. Andy pointed out that she even had a New York Times article written up about her. Andy didn’t hold back, adding, “I do just want to point out, putting out a music video that is like the two of you as lovers.” “It contributed so mightily to a conversation that was already a runaway train, and that was totally in her hands, I have to say,” he added. “It’s like, at some point, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. I mean, sorry.”
RHOBH fans feel misled by Kyle Richards over Morgan Wade
No amount of charged-up sun crystals was helping Kyle stay out of the hot seat. For months, fans have been hoping that Season 14 would showcase her relationship with Morgan. There has been such a mystery surrounding her separation from Mauricio Umansky that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers were just hoping for some answers. Did he cheat? Did Kyle cheat? The world may never know. The women became friends in July of 2023 after Kyle essentially slid into Morgan’s DMs.
From then on both were caught working out and taking vacations to Paris together. Last season, Kyle even tattooed her first initial onto Morgan, solidifying their friendship. But all the rules changed for the most recent season. Kyle and the rest of the women weren’t even allowed to say Morgan’s name. The mother of four’s decision has caused quite the uproar within the Bravoverse, as fans can’t help but feel misled. Obviously, no one should be trying to out Kyle if that is the case, but as a Real Housewives star who is happily collecting a paycheck, fans expect a lot more for their hours of committing to a storyline.

The music video for Fall in Love with Me was basically, um, sexual. The footage showed Kyle in a sexy ’80s workout outfit, naked in the bathtub, and wearing sexy lingerie. The duo also shared a steamy kiss. Morgan sang about wanting to “mess up your hair” and “take off your clothes.” While fans understand the music video is a vision for the song, it all became too real when they watched it. There was clearly chemistry between the two, which resonated as something more than a friendship.
If Kyle and Morgan, because it takes two to tango, really didn’t want to be spoken about, they should have never made the video. Personally, I think they are both smart and knew exactly what would happen once it was released. More listeners found Morgan’s music, and Kyle was given an interesting storyline for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The video was a misstep if the duo didn’t want tongues wagging. But at the same time, fans shouldn’t hate the players. We should hate the game because Kyle and Morgan worked the system perfectly.
