Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore have had their ups and downs over the years. But coming into Season 16, Porsha says she was actually looking forward to “a brand new start” with Kenya.
Unfortunately, things got off to a bad start between Kenya and newbie Brittany Eady. When Kenya mistook Brittany’s giant rock for an engagement ring, rather than her wedding band, Brit took offense. Things got worse from there. When things heated up at a cast event, Brit muttered that she has “guns for bitches like [Kenya].” Consequently, Kenya decided to reveal explicit photos of Brittany at her Kenya Moore Hair Care event. As a result, producers suspended Kenya from RHOA for the rest of the season.
But Porsha’s got more tea to spill. “There’s a housewife who’s still on the show right now,” she says, “that went [to producers] several times to try to get Kenya fired.”
Porsha Williams says RHOA star “still on the show” tried to get Kenya Moore fired “several times”
When Brit first took offense to Kenya’s remarks about her ring, Porsha admits that she wasn’t there because she was late. “I didn’t see that part, but I heard about it,” she says. “The way it was told to me … it wasn’t that shady.”
Even though Kenya has a certain reputation for “little girling” people, Porsha thinks she’s usually open and kind when she first meets people. “Honestly, when I watched the episode, I felt like she was cool,” Porsha adds.
But at a later event when Brittany confronted Kenya, Kenya told her, “Queens don’t address peasants.” Kenya’s comment set off an argument between the two that lasted two hours.
As everyone was leaving, “Brit just starts to get more upset,” Porsha adds. “Kenya’s off to the corner twirling, and Brit is still very much in defense mode.”
That’s when Porsha says Brittany went “into her ghetto bag” and started “talking big talk.” When she started talking about having “a pistol,” it was while she was talking to castmate Kelli Ferrell. Porsha didn’t hear the comment about guns at the time.
Even after Kenya’s nasty behavior at her KM Hair Care event, Porsha thinks demanding a fellow castmate’s termination is just “crazy.”
“We’re all trying to make a living for our kids and our families,” Porsha says. “I would never … call for nobody to get fired … But this person went behind closed doors and asked for Kenya to be fired. Multiple times. And this person is still on the show.”
At the end of her lengthy YouTube stream-of-consciousness, Porsha hints that there may be more to come out later “on this person.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
