Kylie Kelce Believes Older Kids Deserve Gift After Baby’s Arrival

Kylie Kelce is a doting mom, and her idea of surprising the older kids with gifts when a new baby arrives proves the same. The media personality recently welcomed her fourth baby girl with her husband, Jason Kelce. During the latest episode of her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” after her family grew bigger, Kylie got candid about making the older children feel “special” when they get a new sibling.

Kylie Kelce is all about gifting older kids when new baby arrives

Kylie Kelce recently shared her thoughts on giving gifts to the older kids after a new baby comes into the family. The 33-year-old podcast host, who has been navigating the early days of being a mom of four, opened up during the April 10 episode of “Not Gonna Lie,” which was prerecorded as she is currently on maternity leave.

Kylie welcomed her youngest baby girl with retired NFL star Jason Kelce on March 30. The couple is now parents to four daughters — Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and their newborn, Finnley. While responding to a question in her “Ask Me Some Things” segment, Kylie said she is all about surprising her older girls with a present when a new baby sister is born.

The media personality started off by stating she’s aware she previously “shared a very strong opinion about birthday gifts.” The mom of four believes in “making sure that only the birthday person receives birthday gifts on that day.” The podcaster noted she still stands by that even though some netizens “strongly disagreed” with her opinion.

Nonetheless, Kylie continued, “I do think that it’s lovely to give siblings a gift when a new baby comes home.” She explained that this is when the mother “specifically is going to be so tied up.” Kylie added that “it’s okay to help them feel special” by showering the children with gifts. The media personality further doubled down and said while the older kids getting a sibling is “exciting,” a newborn is actually doing “nothing” for them.

Later, Kylie Kelce added that parents can get “maybe something simple” for the children. She suggested that it could be “new coloring books that they can do quietly at the table.” The podcaster also shared, “Set yourself up for success with this gift.”
