Teddi Mellencamp has not had the best week. By her own admission, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is feeling “alone” amid her battle against stage four cancer. But she got a little respite from all that stress with a fun girls’ night in. And she and her dear friend, Kyle Richards, got matching tattoos at the event.
Kyle and Teddi attended a pajama birthday party for Jennifer Turner Leipart. The three friends decided to get matching tattoos in homage to their friendship. And the ink makes a powerful image as the RHOBH alum continues her battle to return to health.

The tattoo, courtesy of artist Wesley Austin, showed off a lit match with a flame on top. All three ladies chose to get the tattoo in the middle of their forearm.
RHOBH stars Erika Jayne and Faye Resnick were also in attendance, but they did not participate in the activity. Kyle shared a series of photos from the event on her social media. One showed Teddi with a big smile getting her ink done. Another showed off the final product, with all three friends linking arms.
“Cozy night in wearing our pajamas. Perfect way to celebrate @jennleipart who’s an amazing friend to all. And of course we had to include the talented @wyldwess to our girls only night,” Kyle captioned the post.
She added, “We love our new tattoos! A perfect match! Yolo.”
It’s a welcome vibe for Teddi, who previously this week shared that she was having a very difficult time. The RHOBH alum shared before and after pics of her hair ravaged by chemotherapy with an honest admission of her vulnerability.
“What a difference 4 months makes,” she captioned the post. “Sometimes I am so focused on ‘being strong’ that I forget I am allowed to be sad, cry it out, and feel very alone.”
Teddi continued, “I love my kids, friends, and family so much and am forever grateful to them but dang today is one of those days.”
