In case you missed it, Brit Eady made her Watch What Happens Live debut, and of course, she didn’t get out of the Clubhouse without addressing those pistol comments aimed at Kenya Moore. The Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie set the record straight, and she claimed that she never had a gun in the first place.
Brit Eady “never had a gun” despite her comments about Kenya Moore on RHOA
On WWHL, Andy Cohen didn’t waste time asking Brit about her gun comments. She said that she felt regretful that Kenya “triggered” her, and honestly, fans wish she had used a different word.
“I never had a gun,” Brit declared. “I never had a gun in my possession at all.”
Brit’s claim about never having a gun was backed up by Andy. He explained that Bravo launched an investigation into Brit’s threat. If they found that she did have a weapon in her possession while filming, that would have been a violation of the network’s policy.
Supposedly, the investigation determined that Brit did not have a weapon, so she was allowed to proceed with RHOA Season 16. However, she said that she still doesn’t feel good about how things escalated so quickly.
“I still beat myself up just the fact that I allowed her to trigger me,” Brit explained. “There’s just no excuse for what I did, what I said.”
Immediately after saying that, she went on to deliver a handful of excuses for why she made the comment. It’s a classic Real Housewives apology.
She continued, “It was the heat of the moment. I’m in a rough neighborhood. I’m always used to having my husband by my side. I felt attacked, and I was triggered by Kenya.”
At the end of all that, Brit did admit that it was “wrong” to make the pistol comment in the first place, and as we saw in the episode, she did show up at the Kenya Moore Hair Spa to apologize. She had a $250 bouquet of flowers and a card for Kenya, but it was too late. Kenya already had those poster boards ready to fly.
