Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet enjoyed a loved-up weekend at Coachella 2025, and videos of them were quick to surface on the internet. Although they appeared intimate while attending the festival, a body language expert, Judi James, exclusively told the Daily Mail the couple’s dynamics were “awkward.”
James claimed the 27-year-old socialite “looks like a focused and insistent lover.” The expert explained that Jenner “knows what she wants and expects and how it should look when it comes to PDAs.” On the other hand, Chalamet “looks easy-going and compliant in terms of not instigating but often being the first to break away.”
James added that the same was showcased when Jenner and Chalamet attended Coachella. One of the viral clips on X (formerly Twitter) showed the couple sharing a romantic moment at the festival. Chalamet stood behind Jenner as they shared a few pecks before the makeup mogul began grooving. Meanwhile, the actor wrapped his arms around her waist before pulling away.
While breaking down this video, James suggested that Chalamet “oddly” used Jenner’s “pelvis as a bongo.” The expert also claimed that the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s “more demanding side” emerged when she clutched his hands back on her waist when the 29-year-old actor began taking them off her hips. Chalamet continued the “ritual of disengagement” when he parted and stepped beside her.
James stated that while Jenner and Chalamet’s “sensual poses” suggested “intimacy and affection,” the dynamics appeared different when their “moments” were “broken down.” The body language expert claimed it looked like the mom of two was “doing all the heavy lifting.” Meanwhile, Chalamet appeared “out of synch and politely less inclined to act seductive or seduced.” James further said in conclusion that Chalamet “doesn’t seem to match” Jenner’s “love of the passionate PDA.”
