Mickey Rourke has officially left the Celebrity Big Brother house, but not in the traditional way. The Hollywood star was ejected from the competition by producers, after repeatedly breaking the rules. After making wildly-inappropriate and homophobic comments to JoJo Siwa, Mickey’s bad behavior continued. He seemed close to physical aggression with another male housemate, and also made sexually inappropriate “jokes” towards reality star Ella Rae Wise. Here’s what went down.
What did Mickey Rourke say to Ella Rae Wise on Celebrity Big Brother?
Mickey Rourke was asked by Ella Rae Wise to “come with me,” to which Mickey responded, “come in you?” He laughed when he made the comment, suggesting he wasn’t being serious. The sexually explicit “joke,” however, left Ella feeling uncomfortable.
Later on during a task, in which housemates were dressed as pirates, they were in character. Former chat show host Trisha Goddard said there was a “rat” on board the ship. She was alluding to Love Island’s Chris Hughes, who had been calling out Ella for sleeping during the task. Mickey backed Chris, calling him a rat, and Chris gave him a look of distain in response. Again, all of this was in character.
However, Mickey didn’t like being “eyeballed.” He assumed Chris was being serious, and got verbally aggressive, moving towards Chris as though he wanted to fight. He threatened to put Chris on the ground, and called him a “c***” twice. Big Brother called him to the Diary Room, and reprimanded him for his behavior.
At this time, Ella opened up to others in the group about how uncomfortable she felt with Mickey around. Not just because of the aggressive tension in the air, but the sexual comment he had made.
Celebrity Big Brother had no choice but to eject Mickey from the competition. This means he likely won’t receive his full £500,000 appearance fee. Good news after the accusations made about him last week by Bella Thorne.
Upon his exit, Mickey apologized for his behavior, and said he was ashamed of himself.
