Katy Perry‘s celestial trip is approaching soon. The singer will blast off to space as part of Blue Origin’s first-ever all-female crew. She will be accompanied by Gayle King and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, among other women, for the mission. The crew is part of Blue Origin’s New Shepard mission, called NS-31, and will launch into space aboard the New Shepard vehicle on Monday, April 14. The launch window opens at 9:30 a.m.

Katy Perry is finally heading to space as part of Blue Origin‘s next mission with an all-women crew. Other members include celebrities Lauren Sánchez and Gayle King, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bow, and producer Kerianne Flynn. The space technology company’s new New Shepard mission, NS-31, will reportedly lift off from Texas.

The New Shepard rocket is due to lift off on Monday, April 14, from Launch Site One in West Texas. Blue Origin’s website confirmed the opening of the launch window at 9:30 a.m. ET (8:30 a.m. CT). Katy Perry and her crew members won’t be in space for too long. The mission will last a total of 11 minutes, including liftoff to touchdown. According to NBC’s report, the journey won’t achieve orbit but will send the crew beyond the Kármán Line, the “unofficial boundary of space.”

Katy Perry and the all-women crew will stay in space for four minutes and reportedly get to experience “weightlessness.”

Meanwhile, loyal Katy Perry fans and space enthusiasts can also watch Blue Origin’s 11th human flight take off in real time. The company will air a live stream of the launch on YouTube at 8 a.m. ET. It will also provide a live stream on its official website. Another option is to witness the iconic launch on CBS, as well as a live stream on Paramount+.
