Madison Beer recently got candid about her brief appearance at the 2025 Grammys ceremony. During an interview with Elle magazine, the 26-year-old singer revealed that she left the event shortly after walking the red carpet. Beer, nominated for the Best Dance Pop Recording category, clarified that she did not “want to come across as disrespectful to the Grammys.”
Beer then continued to explain the reason behind her quick exit. The “Good In Goodbye” singer said, “I have really bad social anxiety,” and added, “I honestly was wearing a really uncomfortable dress.” Beer arrived at the star-studded awards show in a ravishing sheer couture gown. The strapless design of the Miss Sohee piece that the artist wore was very mermaid-core. The gown also featured a plunging sweetheart neckline and form-fitting corset bodice.
Meanwhile, Beer also opened up to Elle about how her fans “were not happy” with her because of her brief appearance at the Grammys. The artist said, “I finally got a seat on the floor with the other celebrities, [and I left].” Beer then added, “It’s unfortunately just who I am.” Nonetheless, the “Showed Me” singer admitted that walking the prestigious ceremony’s red carpet as a nominee felt “incredible.”
Beer continued to recall, “At the preshow, even hearing my name, like, ‘The nominees are: Madison Beer,…'” and added, “It’s crazy to be a part of it in any way.” Previously, after attending the Grammys, Beer expressed her gratitude with a heartfelt note.
