The entire Bravoverse is rooting for Brittany Cartwright to find her prince charming. Season 2 of The Valley has only just begun, and already, Brittany has a lot on her plate when it comes to her love life. She is in the process of divorcing Jax Taylor, and it’s messy. The premiere showed our Kentucky muffin opening up about an argument the former couple had over her fling with Julian Sensley. The fight resulted in Jax flipping over a table. So it’s safe to say it was probably a good decision for Brittany to call the whole relationship off.
Brittany Cartwright talks red flags on The Valley After Show
While on The Valley After Show, Brittany opened up about her time spent with the basketball player. The former Hooters girl revealed, “He did make me feel good, and it was like, I needed that. I had no confidence anymore. And I did enjoy my time with him.” However, along the way, B noticed multiple red flags waving in the wind, sadly adding, “He lied to me about so much.” Brittany revealed to fans that she, as well as Jax, Tom Schwartz, and the rest of the friend group, believed Julian to be a single father.
That wasn’t the case. Brittany had to find out the truth from a fan while in Las Vegas, as she was told Julian was still residing “with his baby mama. He would FaceTime me at home with his daughter. Like, I met his kids and everything. I did not know that he was with her.” Brittany added, “And I feel terrible because I would never try to break up a family. Are you kidding me?” The Valley star also believed that Julian was on the market, noting “100 percent, this guy was single.”
Lala Kent dated Julian Sensley after their fling
It’s never a good sign when your close friend has dated a man before you. Such is the case with Lala Kent, who admitted she also went out with Julian. The former Vanderpump Rules star was sitting with Brittany on stage as she spilled the tea. “Yes, I know know Julian,” Lala admitted to a producer. According to Lala, he was a “love bomber. There were just certain things that just, like, didn’t add up, like his mom died twice. There were just, like, little things.” Lala went to share that Julian had made false claims to her. The Bravoleb told Brittany that Julian once claimed that he was supposed to fly to Germany to inherit $40 million from a dying uncle. “He just was a hanger-onner. He had his claws in the group; it was very awkward,” shared Lala.
During her interview, Lala laughed about how she found out about Brittany’s match-up through her hairstylist. Brittany told The Valley fans, “Me and Lala had to have a sit-down conversation ’cause I wanted her to know, like, I was not purposely trying to hide it from her. And once I started telling Lala all this stuff, she was like, ‘See, if you would’ve just told me in the beginning, I would’ve told you …'” Lala seemed to understand saying, “I would’ve said, ‘Get that dick and run. Oh my god, I should have. Hindsight.”
Jax Taylor wasn’t happy that Brittany Cartwright hooked up with his former friend Julian Sensley
Naturally, Jax was less than impressed that his wife was seeing his good friend. But I say all is fair in love and war. During The Valley premiere, Jax claimed he and the basketball player had been good friends for years, claiming they were “hanging out all the time.” However, B denied that claim, clarifying, “They did hang out sometimes, but, like, it was always more group stuff. They were not like BFFs … It was not like a Tom Schwartz situation.” Jax wasted no time in firing back a rebuttal, telling producers, “That’s a complete lie. He was over at my house all the time. [When] he was always having problems, I would go out and hang out with him. How much more of a friend … I mean, what do you call that?”
Jax shared that he is no longer friends with Julian. But the Jax’s Studio City owner acknowledged his faults. “I can sit there and be mad at Brittany. I can sit there and be mad at Julian. But the reason why she did this is because I pushed her away.”
