Love Island USA fans got the best news this week when Peacock announced a spinoff surrounding the fan-favorite Season 6 cast. A select cast of former stars will show what it’s like to navigate their relationships with real-world scenarios rather than in the bliss of the villa. Almost every fan-favorite Islander was included in the main list for the first-of-its-kind show. However, there was one noticeable person absent from the announcement.
Serena Page will appear on Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which premieres this summer. However, her boo Kordell Beckham’s name wasn’t listed alongside of hers on the announcement. It’s shocking considering that the other PPG fan-favorites, Leah Kateb and JaNa Craig, were included with both of their men. Don’t start to panic, Love Island heads. It’s not all bad news.
Why Kordell Beckham isn’t on the Love Island Beyond the Villa spinoff cast

People confirmed that although he’s not a main cast member, Kordell will appear as a guest on Beyond the Villa. All of the disgruntled fans can blame his burgeoning acting career for why Kordell won’t be starring on the show alongside stars like Kenny Rodriguez and Miguel Harichi. But you can’t really blame a man for chasing his dreams.
Kordell landed a role in a new scripted series that will film during the cycle of Beyond the Villa, so he couldn’t make a full-time commitment. He’s fulfilling his wildest aspirations, and fans can’t be mad at him. However, he would have undoubtedly been the star of the spinoff if he could’ve appeared in a full-time capacity.
People also confirmed that Serena and Kordell are stronger than ever. So their relationship dynamics weren’t a factor in why he’s not starring on the show. We can all take a deep breath and prepare to be reunited with our favorites once the new Love Island spinoff makes its grand debut.
Love Island USA is available to stream on Peacock.
