A few days after the reunion aired, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Garcelle unfollowed all of the diamond-holding Housewives, including Sutton. Now, Garcelle’s on-screen BFF has opened up about what’s going on between them.

As rumors continue to swirl about Garcelle’s RHOBH exit, Sutton spoke to Page Six about their relationship, the unfollowing, and what happens next. This could have been a moment for Sutton to take a swipe, but she kept her comments classy and kind.
“Garcelle has chosen to unfollow all of the Housewives,” Sutton confirmed. “I can only imagine that she needs a clean break right now. I love her and am giving her the space she needs.”
When Garcelle announced she was leaving the show, she said she wanted to focus on her family and new projects. Eventually, it became pretty clear that Garcelle decided to quit the show before they even finished filming the reunion. The look on her face said it all.
Some insiders previously claimed that Garcelle became frustrated with Sutton during the Season 14 reunion. That might be true, but Sutton suggested that she and Garcelle were still on good terms. Specifically, she called out the fact that Garcelle still follows the Instagram accounts for The Sutton Concept and Sutton Brands. That said, the streets are currently saying Garcelle has unfollowed the businesses as well.
The only RHOBH cast members to survive Garcelle’s unfollowing spree were Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton. That might be another hint that there’s nothing serious that happened and Garcelle was just trying to reset her Instagram algorithm. Either way, Sutton had nothing but warm wishes for her former costar.
“I know that she is going to move through this next chapter with grace and success,” Sutton said.
