Kristen Doute dropped a bombshell in Season 1 of The Valley. Allegedly, Michelle Lally cheated on her soon-to-be ex-husband well before they ever separated. However, when Kristen spilled this tea, she missed the cup, mangling her words and spilling her claims via a misspoken route. Thankfully, Kristen is now setting the record straight, correcting her slightly inaccurate statement for the masses.
Kristen Doute clarifies comments about Michelle Lally’s “boyfriend” on The Valley
Quick recap time: During Season 1, Kristen told her producers that Michelle “had a f*cking boyfriend for a year.” This statement rocked a few farmhouses, as Michelle was (and still is) married to Jesse Lally. In her confessional, Michelle said, “Kristen is accusing me of being a cheater when she has cheated on her boyfriends.”
Now airing is Season 2 of The Valley, where Kristen and Jesse are growing closer. Kristen is also sober, thanks to her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Michelle has moved on from Jesse. She is now dating Aaron Nosler, who makes her happy.
Kristen is also moving forward from this storyline. Recently, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live. During her visit, a caller rang in, reminding Kristen of her statement last year. The fan asked for clarification, wondering if this unknown lover was Aaron.
If Kristen answered yes, this yes would implicate Aaron in a cheating scandal. Instead, Kristen replied, “What I meant was, a year ago, not for a year. [I] misspoke,” she admitted.
Needing more intel, Andy Cohen asked if this rumored man was Aaron. Kristen stressed, “To my knowledge, no. It was a different guy. If they did have a thing, I was not privy to that,” Kristen noted.
Either way, Kristen thinks that Michelle is happy with Aaron.
