Brandi Glanville took a savage swipe at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during a recent talk show appearance. She didn’t hold back any punches and told hosts that she was happy to be off “life-ruining TV” amidst her facial parasite battle.
It’s no secret that things have been difficult for Brandi. She recently shared how the sexual misconduct allegations made against her during Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip ruined her life and had her contemplating something drastic. Then she was hit with a mysterious medical condition that she is continuing to battle. All in all, not easy. And she’s been happy to be off reality TV while trying to get better.
Brandi Glanville says RHOBH is “going down a dark path”
“You know, I’m really happy to be off life-ruining TV and enjoying music,” she said when asked about her thoughts on the RHOBH franchise. “I feel like it’s gone down a dark path, and to those that want to partake, just go ahead and ruin your life.”
She elaborated further by adding, “Almost all of them are divorced at this point, and the last few are just now getting divorced. A lot of them have been in and out of prison. I just feel like it’s going down a dark path then just fighting over manipulation.”
And she’s not entirely wrong. The latest season saw Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke butting heads and constantly fighting on the show. Kyle Richards also got into it with Dorit, and the show highlighted both Kyle and Dorit’s separation from their husbands. And if that wasn’t enough, the season culminated with Garcelle Beauvais suddenly announcing her exit.
Perhaps it is a good thing indeed that Brandi is off the show while battling her mysterious condition. The stress can’t be good for her.
The RHOBH alum looked better during the interview though in a hot pink dress and black glasses. While she may not look exactly how she used to during her housewives heyday, she’s looking much better than she first did when she shared her facial deformity, which she believes was caused by a parasite.
She’s still looking for a doctor who can fully treat her. But in the meantime, she’s found a creative outlet while she fights. Earlier this month, Brandi released a new dance song with a music video.
