Vanderpump Villa Season 2 was packed with drama. Lisa Vanderpump brought 18 staff members to live and work in a 12th-century Italian castle. Castello Rosato was located just below Orvieto, Italy. It was stunning, and I want to live there. Six cast members from Season 1 of Vanderpump Villa returned to work for Lisa.

Besides catering to the guests’ needs, the staff members also competed to impress Lisa. And not just for a gold star. The most amazing staff member was awarded a $30,000 bonus and a job opportunity at one of Lisa’s establishments. Not too shabby. Let the drama and back-stabbing commence!

Of course, all of these hard-working folks could really use that cash bonus, so everyone stepped up their game. Well, almost everyone. As usual, Lisa had to make a few cuts to make sure that all the guests had an exceptional time. In the end, several cast members were fired.

So, who went above and beyond and earned a bonus? Well, Lisa had a surprise for her employees at Castello Rosato.

Grace Cottrell was a fan favorite from last season. The housekeeper had no problem standing up to Marciano Brunette for the way that he spoke to women. She also confronted him for insulting the Executive Chef, Anthony Bar.

During Season 2, Grace again worked hard. She was once again a bit unlucky in love, falling quickly for cook Dominic DeAngelis. However, behind her back, he talked about liking server Alyssa Johnston. Grace was hurt and ended the relationship when he didn’t own up to his sketchy behavior.

Later, when new servers Tyler “TJ” Grawn and Sher arrived, Grace went after the good-looking TJ. It was just a summer fling, but Grace was once again confident and happy.

During the final dinner in Italy, Lisa made a shocking announcement. “So, instead of one bonus, I’m actually awarding more. I’m awarding $15,000 to somebody who I believe was unwavering in their support for the castle, and who really kind of knocked it out of the park,” Lisa said. Congrats, Grace!

Grace was floored. “This means a lot for me, because first of all, I’m going to get the f*ck out of Jacksonville, Florida, because there’s nothing going on there,” she said in her confessional. “Professionally, I’m planning on starting my own business and cleaning company. So, I won’t have to clean houses anymore, and now I can send other people to go do it.” Spoken like a true boss!

This is Chef Anthony’s second season at Vanderpump Villa. He excelled both times, impressing Lisa and all the guests with his culinary creations. He even earned an extra bonus from Lisa during Season 1. However, Anthony had his hands full during this summer season.

During Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa, Anthony started with three other cooks in the kitchen. Unfortunately, that number was whittled down to two after one kitchen worker was fired. So, it was Anthony, Dominic, and Ashley Angel who held down the kitchen.

Still, Chef has his rules, and when guests entered the kitchen and wanted to help make a dessert, he was furious. He told them to leave in the nicest, calmest way possible, as no guests are allowed in the kitchen. Of course, Chef had to deal with some squabbling between Dominic and Ashley, but overall, he had a great season.

Chef confided to Lisa that he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend and asked for her advice. Hearts will break, since most of the guests and staff thought that Chef was the hottest item on the menu. Even Lisa co-signed that sentiment.

“So, the next bonus goes to somebody that I couldn’t have gone through this summer without. The heart and soul of the castle,” Lisa stated. “The $20,000 bonus goes to my darling, Chef.”

Of course, Anthony was overjoyed. “I’m so happy. My girlfriend Ava, I miss her, of course. At the end of the day, I’m coming home with a $20,000 bonus, so with that, I do honestly [thinking] we’re going to end up getting married,” Chef said in his confessional. “I just need to find the right time and the right place.” Well done, Chef!

Gabriella Sanon earned the $30,000 bonus on Vanderpump Villa Season 2

Events coordinator Gabriella Sanon wore many hats this season. When the staff was down to one server, Gabriella stepped in and served the guests. And when Siadi, who was in charge of guest services, made the mistake of bringing a guest group to breakfast late, Lisa wasn’t happy.

For the next set of guests, Gabriella took over Siadi’s job, and Siadi had to shadow her. Cue the drama! Over and over, Gabriella proved that she was there to do the best job possible.

In the romance department, Gabriella was still dealing with her relationship from last season with bartender Andre Mitchell. However, their status was more off-and-on by Season 2. Finally, Andre confessed his feelings to Gabriella. Sadly, it was too little, too late.

Then Lisa announced, “So, finally, the $30,000 bonus goes to somebody that I believe has been truly exceptional, somebody who stood in and carried us across the finish line. This person went above and beyond and then some. And that would be to my darling, Gabriella.”

A crying Gabriella thanked all of her co-workers. “Like, guys, seriously, all of you, just allowing me to shine, and … and just get the job done. It was just like let’s make this guest experience incredible, and all of you did that,” Gabriella said. “I’m so thankful. And Lisa, this experience is beyond measure, like the best thing of my entire life.” She added, “Thank you so much.”

Then Lisa offered Gabriella “a lead position next summer at Vanderpump Villa.” Gabriella exclaimed, “F*ck yes, Lisa!”

In her final confessional this season, Gabriella said, “It’s an amazing feeling as a Black woman to have so many people and white men especially be so supportive of me being in my power and delegating. They celebrated me,” she added.

Still, Lisa also gave the rest of the staff some love. Underneath their plates was a bonus. Nice!

Vanderpump Villa is available to stream on Hulu.
