Nikki Glaser recently revealed an interesting incident at the Golden Globes 2025 involving Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet. She shared at the Times 100 Summit panel discussion how Chalamet almost skipped her opening monologue at the event. The 40-year-old planned to joke about the “Dune 2” actor in her monologue. She stated how the roast “got back to him, and he was just going to skip my monologue and get there late, just so he didn’t have to deal with it.”
However, Glaser understood his concerns as Chalamet attended the night with his rumored girlfriend Kylie Jenner. She explained how she understood everything, given his “girlfriend who is already the subject of so many jokes. “He shouldn’t have to sit there if I’m going to make fun of something about him — it’s like his night. So, I don’t begrudge him doing that. ” Glaser continued.
Glaser also disclosed how she got in touch with Chalamet’s publicist regarding his concerns about the roast. She texted the publicist that she loves “Timothee” but is not telling him the jokes. However, she promised that the jokes would only uplift him as she is his huge fan and will not do anything to ruin his night.
For context, Timothee Chalamet was nominated in the Best Actor category at the Golden Globes for his performance in “A Complete Unknown.” During the monologue, Glaser joked about the actor’s “gorgeous eyelashes” on his upper lip.
Nevertheless, she remarked on his memorable performance in “A Complete Unknown.” Further, the comedian hilariously added how she read that his singing voice was so accurate that even Bob Dylan accepted it was horrible. Irrespective of Glaser’s thoughts, a source closer to the situation confirmed Chalamet never intended to skip this roast.
