On April 25, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Ngatikaura guested on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast. While teasing some Season 2 drama, Jessi also assured Kaitlyn that MomTok has settled into its TikTok niche.
When Jessi admitted the cast didn’t always get along during filming for Season 2, Kaitlyn specifically asked about Whitney Leavitt. You might remember that Whitney quit MomTok at the end of Season 1. Will Whitney be back?
Though she seemingly left the group in Season 1, Whitney will be back for Season 2. After all of her Season 1 drama, Jessi suggested that Whit’s standing with the group will improve. “You’ll see … an evolution, and it gets better,” Jessi told Kaitlyn.

In contrast to the first season, Jessi confirmed that Season 2 would be “crazier.”
“Season 1 felt like a test run. Season 2 is crazy,” she clarified. While tensions heat up, Whitney will once again be the focus of the drama. Her behavior will cause the rest of the group to question why she even came back at all. As Taylor confesses in the Season 2 trailer, things are going to “get messy, for sure.”
The Season 11 Bachelorette noted that’s a normal phenomenon. “No matter what show, I feel like they just get better and better,” she said. “Look at White Lotus,” she said, referring to the popular HBO drama.
“Oh yeah. You find your bearings,” Jessi agreed, while admitting that she’s a big fan of the HBO show.
Besides Jessi and Whitney, all of the original cast members are returning for Season 2. Jennifer Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Demi Engemann, Mayci Neeley, Layla Taylor and Taylor Frankie Paul are all back. Plus, newcomer Miranda Hope joins the group.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 premieres May 15 on Peacock. It airs on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland.
