Justin Bieber recently mourned the loss of his beloved maternal grandfather, Bruce Dale. The singer looked back at his childhood memory with his grandpa by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram. It captured Bieber sharing an adorable moment with his grandpa. The singer could be seen affectionately holding his grandfather’s face in his hand in the still. Both of them showcased their bright smiles in the old photograph.
In the emotional tribute written in the Instagram post’s caption, Justin Bieber wrote, “Papa , I always took all ur money lol.” The singer continued, “I remember u specifically telling me, gramma gave u an allowance of 20 dollars for the WEEK!”
Justin Bieber then went on to recall, “I would always convince you to spend on snacks at the hockey game on Friday nights.” He further revealed, “Reluctantly you always gave it to me.” The singer then named all the snacks his grandpa used to buy him, including “Corn nuts, skittles, gum balls, chuck a puck, slush puppies.”
The Canadian artist then wrote, “Shout out to the jr b referees Beatty, Fagon, Flanagan lmfao.” Justin Bieber further expressed, “For enduring all of my grandpas heckling for all of your horrible referee calls lmfao , my grandpa wasn’t shy in letting them know that they were being pieces of shits.” After that, he emotionally penned, “I can’t wait to see u again soon in heaven.”
