Is Robert Irwin Joining The Bachelor After Dancing with the Stars?

Australian conservationist and TV personality Robert Irwin is making waves on the internet. He was the first celebrity cast member announced for the new season of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) and fans are already wondering if he might make an appearance on The Bachelor, too.

Much like his famous dad, Robert is not only adorable but highly charismatic and it’s not surprising that people want to see more of him on TV. But does that mean the 21-year-old son of The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin will soon be joining Bachelor Nation?

Well, it helps that’s he’s “very single.”

Robert Irwin is set to join Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), but does he want to be the Bachelor?

Robert is very excited to be following in his sister’s footsteps on DWTS. Bindi Irwin danced with professional choreographer Derek Hough and the two nabbed the mirrorball trophy. This bodes well for Robert — perhaps dancing talent runs in the genes?

Until his ballroom debut, Robert is enjoying a lot of internet attention thanks to a slightly NSFW modeling campaign he did for Bonds Underwear. The I’m A Celebrity presenter showed off his taut and toned physique with some Australian wildlife. He even made the same cheeky entrance for his DWTS announcement.

The campaign had many girls wondering if Robert was available. And it appears as though he is available and ready to mingle. He was previously together with Rorie Buckley in 2023 but the pair broke up in February 2024. Robbery was later rumored to be with Australian Zoo worker Charlotte Briggs but they allegedly split last February.

So he’s actually in the perfect place to look for love. Plus, he’s already joining the ABC family with DWTS Season 34 so why not go all in right?

When asked if he would consider The Bachelor, he told Entertainment Tonight, “The Bachelor, you reckon? Hey, I mean, never say never. I’m looking for the perfect person, so stranger things have happened.”

And when Robert gave the opening, he was gifted with a photoshopped snap of him in a suit holding the trademark Bachelor rose with a snake around his neck.

“I mean, I can see that happening,” he laughed.

Previous seasons of Dancing with the Stars are streaming on Disney+.
