Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter Tour Struggling to Sell Tickets, Claims ‘Insider’

Beyonce has finally kicked off her “Cowboy Carter Tour,” but it appears the singer is still struggling to sell out tickets, according to some claims by an “insider.” Previously, fans expressed their disappointment over the sky-high prices. Meanwhile, a large number of seats remained available on the tour’s opening night on Monday. Now, a recent report has claimed that ticket prices may be slashed if the seats continue to remain empty.

Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter Tour” tickets may reportedly see a change if they struggle to sell out stadiums continues. An insider told the Daily Mail that the artist and her husband, Jay-Z, are remaining hopeful despite the situation.

The couple is “expecting more of her fans to buy tickets today and in the coming days if resale gets cheaper.” The outlet noted that a huge number of seats were still available at SoFi Stadium when Beyonce took the stage for the opening night on Monday.

The insider explained that ticket resellers are to blame for empty spaces at stadiums. These are individuals or businesses who purchase concert tickets in bulk and resell them to fans at unreasonably high prices. On the other hand, Beyonce found herself in controversy soon after the first BeyHive presale began in February. Fans also called out the astonishing numbers and expressed their displeasure.

It is safe to assume that the sky-high prices may have contributed to the struggle to sell out the venues. The Daily Mail source further added that ticket prices “could be slashed the evening of some dates to fill the seats if they are noticeably empty.”

Beyonce is set to perform four more shows in Inglewood, California before she hits the road for more cities. The stops include Chicago, New Jersey, Houston, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. In June, the Grammy-winning pop star will also take the stage in London, United Kingdom.
