One Vanderpump Rules breakup that is still the talk of the town belongs to Ally Lewber and James Kennedy. In January 2025, Ally announced their split just weeks after James was shockingly arrested for a domestic violence incident.
No charges were ultimately filed against him, but the very public altercation left a stain on their relationship that even Lisa Vanderpump couldn’t fix, as much as she allegedly wanted to. Nonetheless, the former couple were together for three years before their romance fell apart. Are they still on good terms?

Ally recently shared where their relationship currently stands and needless to say, they aren’t as close as they used to be.
“We don’t have any communication right now, but I believe we’re amicable. There’s not been any ill will or anything. At least from my perspective, I can’t speak for him obviously. I will always wish him the best,” she told E! News.
The reality TV star went on to share where her dating life is currently after her split from James.
“I don’t think I’m ready, I feel like I’m about to become a true Capricorn where I just pour all of my energy into work. So, we’ll see. I’m not like opposed to it, like the wheels are starting to turn a little bit. But I still have some healing to do.”
James hasn’t publicly commented on his break up with Ally just yet. The last he’s said about the arrest was a few months ago, when he revealed he’s been sober since the altercation. While Ally has wiped her social media clean of pictures of them, James still has several pictures of them together on his IG.
As for now, the exes are focused on living their lives separately. James is continuing his successful DJing career and Ally just launched her new podcast StarStruck.
