It sounds like Southern Charm fans are in for a wild Season 12, with Salley Carson revealing that she is down a couple of friends. Of course, Season 11 featured a love triangle between Salley, her bestie Charley Manley, and hot tub king Craig Conover. Once Craig friend-zoned Salley, she turned her attention to newly single Austen Kroll. Meanwhile, it sounds like the drama is at peak level in the upcoming season.
The Bravo star says she personally has lost “a couple friendships”
Of course, during Charley and Craig’s short-lived romance, Salley meddled in their relationship. In the end, it led to Charley and Salley’s friendship falling apart. And while Austen and Sally are reportedly just friends, she seemed to want more from her co-star.
Thankfully, Austen and Salley are still close and teamed up for a Fireball collaboration. And Salley blessed us with some details about the upcoming season of Southern Charm. “Some friendships, I feel like, are lost. A couple friendships have been lost on my side,” Salley told US Weekly.
Of course, Austen teased Salley, noting that she was “so in trouble” for giving out spoilers. “I didn’t say who,” Salley replied. “I mean, I just think that if we’re being honest, I think that a lot of people that have been on this show for a long time are getting older, and things are settling down, and you have different ways,” Austen explained.
Meanwhile, Austen dropped some hints about his relationship status with Salley. “I think that, obviously, we’re filming Season 12, and you’re going to see our relationship dynamic play out. We’re certainly talking about that a lot amongst one another, and Salley and I just have a lot of fun together, and this Fireball campaign was no different,” Austen said.
As you may recall, after the Season 11 reunion, Salley and newbie Whitner Slagsvol were involved in an off-camera feud. While Whitner came after Salley, she also alleged that he was targeting Austen.
