Never a dull day in the land of Real Housewives of New Jersey! Last season Caroline Manzo's biggest storyline (other than suddenly hating Teresa Giudice and her daughter Lauren Manzo's weight problems) was menopause, not to be confused with mean-opause.
Caroline was seen meeting with one Dr. Dov Rand learning about treatments for her foul mood. Hopefully she didn't listen too carefully to his advice, because Starcasm reports the good doctor is headed to jail for the next five months and was just fined $30,000!
Dr. Rand pleaded guilty in federal court for accepting kickbacks in exchange for patient referrals to Orange Community MRI. Dr. Rand, along with 12 other NJ doctors, were arrested last December and charged with taking money in exchange for recommending Medicare and Medicaid patients for tests they may not necessarily need.

Apparently Dr. Rand received about $1,000. per patient. In the court papers, Dr. Rand seemed to claim he didn't need the kickbacks since he was going to be a big TV star now courtesy of RHONJ and he has “an office upstairs that’s an anti-aging medicine practice … I was filmed this week on Housewives of New Jersey . . . I’m going to be on TV . . . I’m doing that, so, I’m going to get a lot more patients coming my way.”

Moving on, Patti Stanger appeared on Watch What Happens Live's annual Valentines Day episode last week where she had some comments about Teresa's marriage to the ever-so-lovely Juicy Joe.
TERESA FORCED TO TESTIFY AGAINST JOE?
"Ugh. Teresa, you know that I got your back, you know that I love you, but this is a bad dude. Get rid of him — and call me," Patti advised.
Well Teresa took none too kindly to the Millionaire Matchmaker's words! Despite numerous divorce rumors and Joe's impending fraud trial, she insists she's standing by her man (I have my doubts… hello, single mom spinoff of the future!), and she had a little advice for Patti in return:
Patti insists she has nothing but the best intentions for Teresa, whom she cares about.
I have to say, this is one time I totally agree with Patti! And that's really saying something…
