Tamra Barney Dishes On New Season Of Real Housewives of Orange County; Slams Lauri Peterson!

The Real Housewives of Orange County - Season 8

Tamra Barney has had an exciting year! She's finally set a date for her wedding to Eddie Judge, she's opened her own fitness studio C.U.T. Fitness (which has its grand opening tomorrow), and the eighth season of Real Housewives of Orange County premieres in one month!

Apparently the drama this season will be quite insane with the ladies bickering and going through several personal dramas. "Friendships change constantly," Tamra tells OK Magazine. "Last year it ended with me and Vicki [Gunvalson] in a huge fight and I think you’ll see the ups and downs of us this year."

"Vicki and I—we go up and down. We fight and we make up," Tamra explains. "But even when we’re fighting we still talk. It’s crazy. We have a really weird relationship."

Tamra believes her friendship with Vicki will last forever, no matter what! "We’ve been friends for a long time and I think it’s one of those things where you can get in a fight and yell at each other and then go, 'Okay, where are we going for lunch?'"

"Vicki and I have been on the show long enough that we both understand, 'You know what, it happens on the show. Tensions are high, but we’re in this together.'”

As for who else she has a legit friendship with, Tamra says, "Heather [Dubrow] and I have become really close. We talk all the time." What? Not Gretchen Rossi? Well, you don't say!

Tamra also admits the producers definitely try to encourage drama! "We’ve had situations where we’re flying home from filming and the fights got so bad. The producers are like, 'Save it! Save it!' You can’t save it."

"It’s just one of those things at the moment that people start fighting. These girls on the show, some of them don’t get along, so when you put it together it’s never a good time. So off-camera things get bad, too. It’s no different. "

As for her wedding, Tamra shares it will be low-key. "We’re getting married this summer and we’re getting married local in Orange County unless something drastically changes last minute. We’re in the planning stages right now and I can’t really say a whole lot about it."

And in a surprising twist, Tamra gives some details on Lauri Peterson's highly anticipated return! Rumor was Lauri participated in Tamra's wedding planning festivities. Apparently not!

Lauri came back to stir up some sh*t, she really did,” Tamra revealed to Housewives Hoedown at a recent event.

"I think Lauri came back to try to get her job back. So she definitely stirred up a lot of stuff that even me, I probably wouldn't have gone there," Tamra dishes. "So it will be interesting to see a different Lauri because before we have always in the past have this Lauri that was very conservative, this is like shit talking Lauri."

Tamra also dished on new Housewife Lydia McLaughlin. "I like Lydia, she comes off very sweet but don't cross her," Tamra reveals. "So yeah, she scares me a little bit." If she scares Tamra, I can only imagine…

As for who made the wedding invite list, that's still undecided! "I don't know  that all the housewives will be invited to my wedding, and I can't say which ones because this season we go up and down, friendships all around go up and down,  and I don't want to let you know where we stand right now."

I'm guessing Vicki and Heather made the cut. Maybe she's back on the outs with ol' Gretchy Poo
