Kim Kardashian isn't the only psuedo celeb facing off against her ex-husband in court as of late. Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy met face-to-face in court on Friday to begin their divorce negotiations. While the couple first expressed the desire to keep things amicable, that quickly went down hill as they battle over custody of daughter Bryn and their apartment.
The Bethenny Ever After star and her ex-husband were discussing financial declarations and confidentiality agreements through their legal teams while avoiding each other at all costs. After the initial meetings, the pair went before the judge, and then conferenced privately.

According to E!, sources claim Bethenny arrived at court appearing "really tired [and] very, very thin," while Jason looked "tan, put together, sharp [and] well rested." Jason was also still sporting his wedding band while the talk show host was sans ring.
People further reports that the court appearance was scheduled for 10:30 am, and while Bethenny and Jason sat mere feet from one another with their attorneys, they were out of each other's eyesight. Another witness shares that Jason was talkative, friendly, and upbeat while Bethenny was quiet and withdrawn.
After a thirty minute appearance in front of the judge where Jason and Bethenny did not acknowledge one another, the couple met together privately for about forty minutes. No decisions were made in open court, and an insider reveals that Bethenny appeared to have been crying.
Let's hope they can get this resolved quickly and calmly for the sake of their precious daughter.
