Well, I can't say I'm surprised!
Days after Ryan Culberson was seen screaming obscenities at Lydia McLaughlin's elderly mother Judy, he's now defending his behavior and claiming Bravo edited it to make him look like the bad guy. So, no apologies from him!
“There was so much more … that led up to that incident which they fail to include to make me look like the crazy Marine,” Briana Culberson's husband told the Marine Corps Times. “It definitely was a crazy night and I cannot get over how the producers edited it.”
Ryan maintains that during the Real Housewives of Orange County season finale, Judy was antagonizing him but producers chose not to feature her yelling at him.

Many viewers were shocked by Ryan's behavior and questioned whether he was a victim of PTSD or was abusive towards Briana.
And he wants to clear his name. Ryan hired an attorney to persuade the network into showing a "more realistic" version of what really happened. “But due to the contract, anything we say or do can be cut a[nd] represented they way they want,” Ryan explained.
Still Ryan admits he went too far in his comments and behavior, but offers no apologies for referring to an elderly woman as a "bitch" numerous times. “I said some things in the heat of the moment that I wish I hadn’t. But if the true story had of been painted it would be a lot more justified.”
Despite the shocking behavior, Vicki Gunvalson is now defending her son-in-law, but is quick to point out she was not there and did not see what happened.
“What Ryan did tell me when the cameras were off is she was very rude and disrespectful to him when he asked her several times to remove her feet off my sofa and the red wine she was holding,” Vicki recalls.
“Although I can’t defend or condone how he acted because I wasn’t there at the time, I do know Ryan is a very kind man but obviously was pushed to his limit with her.”
Ryan says the incident has taught him a valuable lesson and he will definitely be more careful of what he does and says around the cameras because of his position as a Marine.
"I think you just need to make sure you steer clear of any drama that would make you look bad or bring discredit on the Marine Corps,” Ryan says. “I think, unless it’s something positive, it’s just not a good idea. Putting anything negative out there is only going to create problems.”
In response, Judy told the Friendly Dish blog that unfortunately the situation was portrayed exactly as it occurred.
“I do not drink red wine. Never have. I had no drink in my hand. Ryan came into the room shouting the f-word at me a zillion times. He was so drunk. He needs anger management. I feel sorry for his family.”
After witnessing the incident on RHOC many Marines and their families members are urging the Marine Corps to take action against Ryan for his behavior.
LALate reports that Marines are "urging that Bravo no longer feature Ryan in future RHOC seasons. They also urging USMC officials to formally reprimand Staff Sgt Culberson for his conduct on camera." Ryan is a joint terminal attack controller with 11th Marines who is currently deployed on his fourth tour of duty in Afghanistan.
