UsWeekly magazine is confirming the news that Jersey Shore’s break out star Snooki is getting her own spinoff show!
Despite reports and rumors that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, 22 would be doing a show with her BFF from the show, Jwoww, 25, UsWeekly is reporting that MTV only wanted the Snookster!
“Execs think a show focusing on Snooki will be a bigger hit, so they pushed JWoww out,” the insider tells Us though MTV is refusing to confirm the news. “We can’t confirm any new Jersey Shore–related programming at this time,” says a MTV rep.
This news follows the report that Pauly D will begin filming his own spinoff show for the MTV network any day now.
In the meantime, Snooki has other projects in the works including writing a book tentatively titled A Shore Thing, developing hair products and reportedly commanding $20,000 to walk a red carpet event.
