It looks like Brandi Glanville is about to have some competition in the outrageous department because Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may be getting racier!
According to Popdust.com RHOBH is about to undergo a major shakeup. Kim Richards is the first name on the chopping block but several other castmates are also being closely evaluated. “Kim is definitely on the outs and it’s very likely Kyle [Richards] will go with her, so there’s going to be two spaces to fill.”
Producers are looking for "over-the-top ladies who bring the drama" to round-out the cast. Basically, they want more ladies that represent the true Beverly Hills lifestyle but won't be wallflowers.

The first person being scouted is sex therapist Dr. Ava Cadell! “[RHOBH production company Evolution] has actually been trying to get Ava to join the cast for two years now, but it hasn’t been the right time for her previously,” a source dishes. “She’s top of the producers’ short list and if they can agree terms she will definitely join the cast next season."
Ava, 57, is a sex therapist who refers to herself as a "loveologist" and specializes in all areas of eroticism and relationships. She even trains others to become relationship coaches. And yes, she is a for real PhD. The former actress is married to California defense attorney Peter L. Knecht and also hosts a radio show called "Sex Drive". Throughout her career she has been featured on numerous TV shows.
Last season the show had serious problems attracting wealthy and successful women willing to join after Brandi's notorious secret-dropping feud and subsequent legal issues with Adrienne Maloof, but with producers cutting some of the less glamorous players they're hoping wealthy, sophisticated, and fabulous women will be willing to sign on.
As for Dr. Cadell, the source says she'd be a dream come true! "She would be great for the show, she’s really outspoken, she doesn’t shy away from being controversial or outrageous and she has a very aspirational lifestyle," the source explains. Plus, I'd kill to see Dr. Ava go head-to-head with Brandi who sees herself as a so-called sex and dating expert nowadays. Ugh.
Speaking of which, “Brandi is totally safe—there’s no way anyone is even going to consider letting her go, she’s pretty much the life blood of the show right now.” Ummm… really? Is this source Brandi herself, because yeah – no. Personally I think producers will keep her around because she'll do anything to stay and that includes attempting to takedown wealthy BH socialites! And, of course, she and Lisa Vanderpump now can't stand each other…
I have a feeling Carlton Gebbia will also be leaving next year!
