This season of The Bachelor is heating up as Juan Pablo Galavis starts downsizing his flock of desperate bachelorettes!
But of course any lady that goes on reality TV is opening herself up to scrutiny – and that means all the deep, dark secrets of her salacious or devious past revealed.
Let's see who's in it to win Juan Pablo's heart – and who's probably got one too many tricks up her sleeves (can one store tricks in sleeveless rompers, bikini tops, or strapless cocktail dresses?).
This week Juan Pablo eliminated Elise Mosca, allegedly a first grade teacher from PA, and Lauren Solomon, a composer who desperately tried to kiss him. And it turns out that those were the right choices!
Before she was vying for roses, Lauren was engaged to Blake DuPlant, whom she met as a contestant on the game show Minute to Win It, unfortunately the wedding was abruptly canceled!

“She told the girls in the house that the engagement was called off, and was vague about the details. She later admitted what really happened,” a source reveals to Life & Style. “She cheated, he caught her and that’s why it ended!” Oops.
Even less of stepmother material is Elise. Who's thankfully left her educator days behind her to focus on her acting career! Elise “acted very demure. She’d say she’s a teacher and wouldn’t want to do things to compromise her relationship with her kids,” an insider reveals. Elise balked at doing a nude photoshoot for charity on an earlier group date because she did not want to compromise her professional reputation.
Unfortunately Elise is actually a wild partygirl who once "dated" (smooshed) The Situation (as in Jersey Shore's The Situation) and now works as a bikini-clad cocktail waitress in LA's swanky nightclub Playhouse. “She wanted The Bachelor to be a stepping stone,” a co-worker says, “because she likes the Hollywood scene. I think the show is going to give her 15 minutes of fame.”
Elise and Lauren aren't the only girls with secrets. Sharleen Joynt, an opera singer who lives in Germany seems to be stealing Juan Pablo's heart, but she has no interest in marriage at all! “She doesn’t have real feelings for Juan Pablo,” a source reveals saying Sharleen basically agreed to do the show on a whim for fun.
“She lives in Germany and always planned on going back there. She doesn’t want to get married and have a child. She’s putting her career first right now.”
Another contestant using Juan Pablo for attention is single-mom Cassandra Ferguson. She almost left the show because she didn't want to be away from her son if JP wasn't serious about her, but a source says that's all an act! “Cassandra’s one of the craziest girls of the season,” says the source to Life & Style. “She is absolutely nuts.”
The former NBA dancer, who is also only 21(!), “wasn’t looking for Juan Pablo to be the one," reveals an insider. “She was just there to make her ex [Detroit Pistons’ Rodney Stuckey], who has a new girlfriend, notice. She wanted to make him jealous.” Rodney is the father of Cassandra's two-year-old son.
