Southern Belles: Louisville is arguably the best reality show you are not watching. It is a new reality show on Soapnet featuring 5 young women in their 20s and 30s as they go through their lives. It has been described by some as a reality show version of Sex and The City.
I started watching this show by chance a few weeks back and I must say I AM HOOKED! It reminds me a lot of the Real Housewives series, with younger women ofcourse. Imagine the lives of the Bravo housewives 10 – 20 years ago, and you pretty much have this show.
It airs Thursday nights at 10/9c on Soapnet. Below is more information about each cast member –

EMILY
Emily is the prodigal daughter who turned her back on the riches of her family’s business to pursue a career as a TV reporter. She’s been pursuing her entertainment dreams since she was a teenager. Her father doesn’t approve of daddy’s little girl choosing the career she has and would rather her stay at home to take her place in her family’s multimillion dollar manufacturing company.
Will Emily be able to pursue her broadcasting future without alienating her family?
HADLEY
Hadley is the girl next door who is beautiful and fun to be around. She’s well educated and smart … except when it comes to the things that really matter: her love life and her career.While mired in a low paying dead end job as a personal assistant, will Hadley be able to grow up and discover what she wants out of life?
Julie is a model on the verge of her 35th birthday and it’s time for her to face the hard truth: to stay in the game she’s going to have to adapt and evolve. Julie creates a list of “things to do before you turn 35” and sets out to accomplish each thing on it, which include finding a man and getting her modeling career back on track. She talks about her past struggles with her 2 divorces, as well as her past drug use.She also dwells into a new dating business she calls “Dating sucks”

On the outside it looks like Shea has it all. She’s a sophisticated socialite that comes from money and wants you to know it. Under the facade, she’s actually just a regular girl with her own family issues. She’s finally met someone who can give her something she’s never had: stability. And, she’s planning her wedding even though he hasn’t proposed.
Will her high-maintenance ways throw a wrench into her plans for a perfect life?
