Aviva Drescher is working hard to bring awareness to amputees and others in need of prosthetic limbs.
The Real Housewives of New York star has chronicled her battle coming to terms with losing her leg due to a childhood accident in her new book Leggy Blonde.
Another drawback to the need for prosthetics is the cost! Aviva, who is very involved in charities to provide prosthetics to those in need, reveals that she's spent over $1 million dollars on her own artificial limbs over the years. Yikes! Good thing Daddy Sleaziest is rich.

"I’ve had around 50 legs throughout my lifetime,” Aviva reveals to Life & Style, “and they run about $30,000 apiece.” Aviva who lost her leg at age 6 estimates she had spent about $500,000 on legs before she was 18.
Now Aviva uses a state-of-the-art limb specially created by A Step Ahead prosthetics and crafted by an in-house artist to look as close as possible to her right leg. And we'll get to see it upclose as it is strewn on the carpet this season on RHONY. Hopefully it didn't get damaged in the process.
