Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss married Todd Tucker today!
Someone must've gagged Mama Joyce and locked her in a closet for a few hours because Kandi and Todd tied the knot today – without interruption!
Kandi confirmed the happy wedding news to In Touch. Mrs. Tucker gushed after saying "I Do", "This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd’s been that to me. And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it’s all been so beautiful. Now it’s time to party!"
We're not sure which of Kandi's co-stars were in attendance for her big day. NeNe Leakes was Tweeting about being in Texas for a conference (and was heading back to L.A. for DWTS) and Kenya Moore is in NYC filming Celebrity Apprentice. Porsha Williams is the only one who made any mention of the wedding on Twitter, simply sharing that she was getting ready for the ceremony. Phaedra was a bridesmaid and no word on Cynthia's role (if any) in the wedding, but she was busy on Twitter today, hawking her Cynthia Bailey doll.
Kandi and Todd first confirmed their engagement in January 2013 after weeks of rumors circulated that Todd proposed. There were several bumps along the way (Kandi's mom being 100% against the engagement and marriage being the main issue), but Kandi and Todd persevered and are now a happily married couple! Congrats to them!!
