I'd bet that one of the best things about being a reality star who decides to write a book is that you already have a built in audience. Seriously, has a reality star ever "written" a book that hasn't ended up on the New York Times Bestseller List? Remember when that recognition was reserved for esteemed authors and not real housewives?
The latest reality star to achieve this honor is Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry with her recently released memoir Pride Over Pity. Y'all know Farrah Abraham is seething (and organizing a totally impromptu outing that will somehow, someway be documented by paparazzi she didn't realize were in the area…) over this piece of news!

After learning the exciting news, Kailyn tweeted, “I cannot believe Pride Over Pity became a NY Times best seller. THANK YOU to all of you. It means so much!”
Husband Javi Marroquin also took to Twitter to support his wife, sharing, “My wife is a NY Times Best Selling author! I can’t tell you how proud I am of her. Thank you everyone who bought the book! #PrideOverPity.”
Kailyn's book was released on April 22, and it sky rocketed to the tenth spot on the Combined Print and E-Book Notification list. It chronicles Kailyn's difficult adolescence which included being the victim of sexual assault, living in a homeless shelter, and having an abortion on her sixteenth birthday.
