We've got a situation here. I blame people's awareness on how harmful UV rays are…and that's a positive. The only good summer color comes from a bottle that may or may not turn your ankles and palms orange. But isn't orange the way the kids from Jersey Shore taught us how to roll?
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and crew took take pride in having a skin tones that rival that of an Oompah Loompah, so it's no surprise that post-reality show fame, Sitch has attempted to capitalize on the GTL lifestyle that made him a household name. Unfortunately for the employees of his tanning salon, things haven't been so rosy.

According to TMZ, the workers at the Situation's Boca Tanning Club in Middleton, New Jersey (where else?) got a not so stellar surprise when they went to cash their most recent paychecks. The checks bounced higher than a sweaty Mike fist pumping through the streets of Seaside…back in the day, of course.
So, what do you do when there is no money to back your paycheck? Well, one might suggest talking to your boss to see what he can do to rectify the, um, situation. Or, you could just call the police. That's what the employees at Boca did, claiming they were each owed between $100 and $200 apiece.
The cops told Mike's brother Frank that the workers could file criminal charges. Needless to say, the employees were paid in full STAT. Sources close to the Situation say he was disheartened to learn that his employees went straight to the po-po instead of coming to him. He claims that the oversight was caused by a change in payroll companies and only affected his employees for a couple of days.
Perhaps Mike should focus more on the G and the L instead of the T. It's healthier too! I'm sure he'll be just fine though…his latest reality endeavor The Sorrentinos premieres Tuesday July 15th on the TV Guide Network. DVR set.
