Yesterday Apollo Nida had a little time management issue when it came to reporting to Lexington, KY to begin his 8 year prison sentence!
Well today, Apollo confirms that he is officially a prisoner! Interestingly Apollo was even able to post a video of himself from inside the prison. My, my… this place is pretty lax! Maybe he could even continue filming for Real Housewives Of Atlanta from behind bars.

“Well everyone, I have finally arrived at the penitentiary,” Apollo announced in his short video. “I’m about to go asunder. Thank you for the support and prayer. Stay tuned and you’ll hear from me shortly.”
No doubt Bravo cameras captured at least some portion of Apollo heading off to prison! However, no word on whether or not his wife Phaedra Parks was there to support him during his surrender. (According to sources she was not) Yesterday she released a statement announcing that she was focusing her energy on their two sons, Ayden, 4, and Dylan, 1, and making decisions “in their best interests.” Which pretty much sounds a lot like, I’m about to file for divorce so, fix it Jesus!
Apollo is slated to serve 8 years, but his attorney Thomas Bever, told the Atlanta Constitution Journal that Apollo could receive as much as 15% off his sentence in exchange for good behavior, which would mean Apollo could be released a full 13 months earlier. Apollo will still be on the hook for the full restitution amount but will have 5 years to repay the $1.8 million.
