Despite rampant rumors that suggested she’d been fired and the high hopes that followed, Tamra Judge confirmed she’ll be back for Real Housewives of Orange County season 10.
Tamra was one of the many Bravo reality stars who showed up to the premiere of Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. Because, Lights! Camera! Famewhore Action! On the red carpet, Tamra talked season nine regrets, sung Heather Dubrow‘s praises, dissed Vicki Gunvlason and Gretchen Rossi, and confirmed she will be back next season. Le sigh.

When asked if she wished anything from season nine never happened, Tamra bemoaned, “Yeah. The whole last season. Let’s make that clear right now, the last season should have never happened.” Don’t get it twisted though… Tamra does not regret anything she did. Heavens no! Rather, everyone wronged her, especially ex-husband Simon Barney and ex-best friend Vicki.
“I was going through a lot personally with my ex,” Tamra explained. “I keep my children off the show for a reason and this was something that my ex felt the need to make very very public in a very negative way for me and the kids, so it was very difficult for me as a mother to film a show of this sort and to not worry about exploiting my children.”
Tamra went on to say that she went into season nine a “sad person” and none of her co-stars, save for Heather, gave her a free pass to act like a pot-stirring two-faced bitch. Crazy, right?!?
“It was very unfortunate that none of my cast members took me aside, other than Heather, and said, ‘I know what you’re going through. I’m sorry.'” Tamra complained. “Heather‘s been my rock. She’s my girl. It was hard. I really truly found out who my friends were.”
When asked about her plan for season ten, Tamra said, “I just want to be me. I’m 100% honest and I’m loyal and I’m truthful in everything I say. If you ask me what do you think about so and so and I said I don’t think he’s a great guy … you know what, if you don’t want to hear the truth, then maybe we shouldn’t be friends.”
Tamra said she made amends with Shannon Beador but not Lizzie Rovsek. And Gretchen? “I’m sorry.. who is this person you speak of?” snarked Tamra.
“I wish her the best in the world. I wish her happiness. That’s all I really have to say with her,” Tamra added about Gretchen. “We worked together and part of working together was judging each other. I had a lot to say and she had a lot to say. But now that we’re not doing anything you know I only wish her happiness, love, and positive things in her life.”
In other Real Housewives of Orange County news, RumorFix reported that Amanda Timmons, wife to 98 Degrees boy bander Jeff Timmons, was asked to join the cast. Amanda and Jeff turned down the offer, however, in favor of a reality show focused solely on their family.
“Amanda was excited about the opportunity,” Jeff told RumorFix. “We explored it and during the process we got approached by Pilgrim Studios. They want to do a follow-doc based on our family. We can co-produce the show and have control. Amanda was honored to be considered to be on the Housewives, but we would rather have our own show.”
