After Phaedra Parks hinted that she’d consider visiting Apollo Nida in prison for Christmas it doesn’t appear that she did!
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star instead opted for a “quiet” traditional Christmas spent in Atlanta with immediate family. Just three days before Christmas, Phaedra was spotted with bestie Kandi Burruss and She By SheBroke at the Atlanta Mayor’s Ball, where she was all smiles.

The boys did speak to Apollo on the phone Christmas day, but never made the trip to Kentucky to visit. A source says, for Phaedra, Christmas was “all about her sons” and “logistically” a trip to Kentucky wasn’t best for them. I agree, given their ages, that Christmas should be spent doing normal holiday things.
Phaedra’s rep says that the boys communicate with Apollo often and Phaedra is not in any way impeding them from having a relationship with their father.
“Phaedra lets the boys talk with their father anytime and every time he calls,” her rep Steve Honig explained to Radar. “Phaedra also has the boys write him letters and draw him pictures, which she sends to him. She goes out of her way to enable the boys to communicate with their father, and anyone who says otherwise is lying.”
Apparently a visit is being planned, but will have to work around Ayden’s school schedule (he’s in pre-school). Phaedra recently announced that their divorce is going ahead as planned as she and Apollo are “resolving to dissolve” their marriage. Apollo said he plans to fight to get what he believes is his share of the marital financial assets.
Anyway, tonight RHOA returns. Kenya, NeNe, Cynthia, and Porsha try to sit-down and communicate through their issues. Meanwhile, Phaedra accepts life as a single parent, while Claudia confronts her past when her mom and grandmother visit Atlanta. However, Kandi and Todd continue to have drama between their mothers leaving Todd very conflicted.
