The Kardsahians are the engine that never stops! It seems nothing can dent the first family of famewhoring and now that the Keeping Up With The Kardashian sisters have launched a slew of new apps they are slated to earn millions!
On Monday each of the Kardashian sisters (except for Kourtney) launched a separate app. Each with a subscription fee of $2.99 per month. With a huge surge of fan downloads garnered nearly 900,000 followers within a few hours of their release. In fact, totaling the collective subscriptions could net as much as $32 million for the Kardashians in one year alone!
Leading the pack in downloads was littlest sister Kylie Jenner who has been forging her own path to fame and attention.

The Kardashians are konstantly on the pulse of the next self-promotion opportunity and have relied heavily on social media for free advertising and fan engagement. Kim Kardashian actually takes credit for the family’s cutting-edge approach to using new mediums – she was one of the first stars to actively use twitter and instagram. Now she is leading the family in transitioning from blogs and websites to the newest medium: apps. Kendall and Kylie already have their own successful combo app, and so does big sister Kim.
Kim has talked eagerly about the family’s decision to launch their apps as separate entities instead of always being a unit. Kim has been speaking out at social media and branding summits to describe her meteoric use of social media and web marketing.
But now Kylie is now outshining Kim as the sister with the highest-earning app. Who would’ve thunk it!
According to TMZ’s intrepid analysis report, 74% of Monday’s explosive app downloads were for Kylie’s ‘Kylie Jenner Official App’. Meanwhile Kim, whose online interactive app ‘Kim Kardashian Hollywood’ has been popular with celebrity cameos, garnered only 9% of the total downloads! Even Khloe Kardashian beat Kim, but poor Kendall fared the worst with only 6% of the downloads. Something tells me the Vogue supermodel isn’t that concerned with her income-earning potential…
Kylie, who has gained attention with her much-older boyfriend Tyga, her under-aged plastic surgery, and her racy outfits is quickly unseating the domesticated and fashion-disastered Kim in grabbing attention from a younger fan base. It looks like there’s a new driver of the Kardashian Kontroversy Machine! I suppose that means Kim can age ungracefully into the role of Kris Jenner as the ultimate pimp-ager. (pimpsisterager?)
Kylie celebrated her accomplishment on her app, where else, thanking fans for paying for her latest lip injection supporting her. “This is crazy!!!! Thank you all so much for all of your support!!! And For being so excited about our apps!”
