Kim Zolciak was hospitalized earlier this week after suffering a mini stroke. The reality star was rushed to the hospital when her side went numb and her speech disappeared.
Kim has been juggling double-duty – training hard for Dancing With The Stars in between traveling back and forth from LA to Atlanta to be with her family. The crazy schedule and the stress apparently took its toll on Kim, who remains in the hospital for additional tests, but hopes to be discharged tomorrow.

Kim took to social media to update fans that she was going in for an additional procedure but the prognosis looks good! “Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! don’t let the oxygen scare you its just protocol,” she shared on Facebook. “I wanted THANK all of you for the love! I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments etc. I’m so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing”
You can’t wear a wig in an MRI machine, right?
To help keep her spirits up and get her on the road to recovery, the Don’t Be Tardy star has been relying on the support of her family, notably her husband Kroy, as well as her dance partner Tony Dovolani. Kim reported that both men were by her side through it all.

In order to keep Kim focused on the prize, Tony has been dancing in her hospital room. Training Kim by-proxy?
“This guy @tonydovolani has been by my side for 2 days! he even brings me my favorite coffee,” Kim gushed on Instagram. “Although he is always dancing around the room lol he keeps me smiling! So blessed to be surrounded by such great people. Want to go home so bad! Hopefully tomorrow! #GoingStirCrazy #BlessingInDisguise.” [Credit: Instagram]
Tony does have that mirror ball to think about, after all! (I kid – Tony is darling and always ends up with the most high-maintenance partners.).
Kim hasn’t announced whether or not she’s leaving DWTS, but Tony believes in her. Praising Kim for being a “fighter,” Tony reports she’s in good spirits despite her health scare. “Her humor and positivity are still shining through, and it’s amazing to see the love and support of her family,” he told People. “We are hoping for a speedy recovery.”
