In today’s news, reality villain star Kate Gosselin refuses to go away.
Following an announcement by the TLC network that her show, Kate Plus 8, had been cancelled, many fans rejoiced in hopes that this marked the end of Kate’s TV career.
Unfortunately that is far from the case. The Hollywood Life blog is reporting that CBS show The Talk has now offered Kate a chance to become a co-host on the show. And it appears Kate will accept the new gig!
“Kate has been getting a lot of offers but finally one has come through that is a viable option,” a source reveals. “The Talk reached out to Kate and they want her to co-host for a few weeks after Kris Jenner fills in!”
Yes The Talk also hired pimpmomager Kris Jenner as a co-host after firing regulars Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini for the upcoming season two which premieres on Sept. 6.
Kris will reportedly be filling in for regular Sharon Osbourne who will be taking some weeks off when the show returns. When a fan asked Kate about the new gig on twitter, she did not deny it, tweeting: “In general I’ll say that when (my dream) opportunity comes a-knockin’, I’m taking it! ” Sighs.
And just in case this new hosting gig doesn’t pan out, Kate is still hopeful her TLC show Kate Plus 8 can be saved. Just days ago, she retweeted a peition started by a fan to save the show. Kate retweeted the following: “ @Kateplusmy8 2 Support Kate Petitions Please go sign ur choice 2 support Kate twitition.com/ch7z3.”
Not looking good for Kate as the petition has only received 669 signature so far. What’s becoming increasingly clear is that Kate really really does not want to put her nursing degree to use.
