Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice seems to be fighting with everyone these days. Last week’s episode contained an explosive fight with Kathy Wakile, it looks like the Manzos no longer consider the Giudices “like family”, Jacqueline Laurita is over the petty nonsense, and Teresa just can’t stop saying negative things about people! But in her defense, it appears no one else can stop saying negative things about her either!
A quick peek at Teresa’s Bravo blogs confirms that Teresa is annoyed with everyone and perhaps a real rift is developing between Teresa and Caroline!
In a recent blog, Teresa addresses the book signing and subsequent text drama between her husband and her brother, Joe Gorga. And after stating that it “meant so much to her that her brother and Melissa and Kathy and Richie” all came to her book signing, Teresa goes onto complain that it took them so long to get there! “I had dozens of book signings all summer long and into the fall. The book signing they all came to was at the end of January. That’s a long time not to come out and support me, no? I talked to my whole family about them all the time. It was a big deal to me and I was hoping they would come.”
Taking the high road as always, she let’s us know that her brother and Melissa don’t care about her best-selling cookbooks, “I never got one public congrats. Not one. (I still haven’t…) For the record, I have congratulated Melissa and my brother for her song on Twitter several times and I’m happy to do it here on my blog as well: Congrats to both of you!” Passive aggressive much, Tre?
In defense of Joe Giudice’s rude texts and drunken anger, Teresa reiterates that he believed Joey’s attendance at the signing “was to look good on the show.” She goes on to point out that she hopes that was not the case, because “we’re all working on getting to a better place now.” So, writing snarky comments on a nationally published network blog isn’t going to further strain an already tumultuous relationship?
Responding to Caroline’s comments about Gia’s heartbreaking song to her family at Melania’s birthday party, Teresa insists “ She’s not screaming out in pain or whatever Caroline said. She’s a normal ten-year-old girl who’s creative and passionate.”
Teresa also addresses that she was “surprised” to hear Caroline and her kids speaking negatively about her and her books. “I had no idea they did that. I’ve always adored Caroline’s whole family and have never said a word about them, so it was a little shock.” She does admit that the Manzo family likes “to laugh a lot and they have silly senses of humor,” concluding that, “Life’s too short to take offense to the small things!”
And after last week’s trip to Punta Cana, both Teresa and Kathy both have plenty to say about that little fight they got into regarding how Teresa may or may not be a negligent parent and Kathy may or may not have been intentionally insulting her.
Teresa states her reason for verbally lashing out at Kathy on the beach, in a blog entitled “Go Time”, goes a little something like this: “I had never gotten to talk to Kathy about her comment about Audriana being left unattended, and yeah, it bothered me a lot. She got her little dig in about detaching from my children, and it gave me a chance to finally ‘go there.’ “
“It might seem like Kathy’s comment to me about detaching from her children was innocent, but believe me, I know my cousin. I’ve known her a long time.” Reacting to gossip that Caroline and Jacqueline might be taking Melissa and Kathy’s sides against some of the pettyness, she asserts:”I get that the Manzos and Lauritas don’t know this about her, but I know how she is. She likes to give little subtle digs that hit people where she knows it will hurt them.”
Kathy, who meant it when she said she wasn’t backing down, strikes back calling Teresa out as being the reason their relationship has deteriorated!
“What happened to moving forward, not rehashing the past, and staying positive? Why do you insist on pointing fingers about something that happened six months ago?”
And then Kathy accuses Teresa of having “issues”! “Don’t keep holding me responsible for your inability to see things for what they really are. She obviously has some unresolved issues and once again mishears, misunderstands, and puts her own spin on it.” Those are some fightin’ words, Kath!
In more positive Kathy news, she recently did an interview with The Celebrity Café about the future of her catering company and, in typical housewives fashion, the other business ventures she has on the horizon.
“We are having to hold on catering for now. We are still looking at different options,” Kathy explained. And revealing what those options may be, she confesses: “I’m really working on getting a line out of desserts that people respond to. It may be a retail store.”
When asked if she had thoughts on doing a cookbook, Kathy disclosed: “I would love to put a cookbook out one day, but first I want to make sure that it’s something I’m really behind.” Ok, so reading between the lines, that means expect one on bookshelves next year!
Finally; The lady who wants to repay her creditors the old-fashioned way by, you know, sending them a check, has just become the new face of PearlBrite! Teresa released the following statment about the partnership: “I am excited to be part of this innovative teeth whitening solution that offers great results at an affordable price for the consumer and an amazing business opportunity for the individual or business owner. As a shareholder and devoted user of the company products I see a bright and profitable future for all of us.”
Teresa has inked a three-year endorsement deal with the company, for which she is also a shareholder. Sadly, for those of you dying to see Melissa’s singing debut there will be no new episode of RHONJ tonight, but the show resumes it’s never-ending season next week at it’s regularly scheduled time!
