In light of Amber Portwood‘s much-older fiance Matt Baier battling approximately 45 child support cases (OK, actually only like 9 – I think?) from several women, they’ve decided to put their wedding “on the back burner” and instead focus on the ever-pressing issue of online bullying – which they have been victims of.
Apparently the postponed wedding is social media’s fault – viewers have online bullied Amber and Matt into canceling their planned October 10th wedding. #WorldsTiniestViolin.. No worries – they plan to confront the media gossip head on with the truth.

Yes, on this season of Teen Mom OG, Amber and Matt will be “getting the truth out there” after “so much talk.” Just so we’re all clear that Matt isn’t as terrible as he’s been portrayed to be, which has unfairly led to the couple being harassed.
Now, Amber, a professional reality star, plans to keep her personal life with Matt “a little private” after last season. Matt, the professional sperm spreader, was exposed as a deadbeat dad. At least Amber acknowledges the irony of of trying to keep things private while “everything is out in the open” because she’s living her life on TV.
“Honestly, I tried to stay neutral in the whole situation because I didn’t know what was going on yet,” Amber shares with People. “I didn’t know what the truth was. I didn’t want to make a rash decision on something that everyone else was saying.”

“You will see in this season me making my decision on what I was going to do with me and Matt,” she promises, “and we’re actually about to go to the Dr. Drew show to talk about online bullying.”
As for those wedding plans, Amber swears another reason things were canceled is because she’s “really picky” – not about WHO she ties the knot with, but where it happens. Priorities! Presently Amber and Matt are “working through certain things together.”
Viewers will witness scintillating conversations between Amber and Matt “about marriage and what we’re going to do.” I presume all of these conversations will take place on Amber’s couch?
Teen Mom OG premieres Aug 22nd.
