The leaves may be falling, but Shady Sunday is coming back again this Fall, with new seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Married To Medicine debuting Sunday, November 6! Bravo announced the premiere date this week, along with confirmation on who’s coming back – and what they will be sharing with us in the months to come.
Real Housewives of Atlanta season 9 will see a return of the same cast we know and love, with one notable upgrade: Sheree Whitfield is back as a full time housewife, ya’ll! Who gon’ check her BOO? Two snaps in a circle for that. Snap, and a snap. It’s Sheree’s first time holding a peach since season 4. Though hinted at heavily during the off season, NeNe Leakes is not currently on the Housewife roster (nor is Kim Zolciak) but we all know she will likely poke her head in front of the camera for a scene or two.

A quick highlights reel of what the ladies will be dealing with this season: A newly single Cynthia Bailey moving into a new house that doesn’t smell like Peter Thomas and broken dreams. Kandi Burruss and Todd juggling their careers, life with a new baby – and Mama Joyce. Phaedra Parks focusing more on social justice work and waiting on that divorce from Apollo Nida. <whistling> Meanwhile, Porsha Williams explores some much needed anger management counseling, and rekindles romance with an old new flame. Ooh!
With her latest made for TV relationship behind her, Kenya Moore turns her attention to Moore Manor, which is of course, still under construction. Speaking of eternal house construction! Just up the street at Chateau Sheree, Sheree is embarking on her next role as manager to her son’s burgeoning modeling career. The Bailey Agency to the rescue! (Or to the ruin, as the case may be.)
Bravo hints that RHOA promises lots of drama, as always, with “major twists in relationships among the group from unexpected alliances that form as well as shocking accusations that could end an old friendship beyond repair.”

The Married To Medicine season 4 premiere is slated to follow RHOA on its Nov 6th date, welcoming back its entire cast as well – with the exception of producer/pariah Mariah Huq. Though Mariah wasn’t a full time cast member last year, she did spend most of the season trying to look like one on camera.
Quad Lunceford-Webb becomes a new aunt, which might kick start her own baby making clock…but that remains to be seen! Lisa Nicole Cloud’s baby fever is already sky high, though, as she attempts to get pregnant with super shady husband Darren. A Hail Mary to save their marriage, perhaps?
Dr. Jackie Walters will still be focused on her work, health, and philanthropic goals, while bestie Dr. Simone Whitmore navigates heavier matters: She’s ready to face her estranged father. Toya Bush-Harris appears to be just as thirsty as ever this season as she turns 40 and opens a new “vitamin infusion spa.” Mmmkay.
Meanwhile, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, relationship expert to no one, doesn’t have much in the way of a story line going on these days. Bravo just says she’s “on a mission to revamp her attitude and change the ladies’ perception of her.” Which might be enough work for her to handle in one season!
