The Jersey Shore cast is reuniting for a brand new reality show. Hopefully it’s better than that random thirty minute special where they drove around and got lunch which aired on E! early this year. This revival is Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Deena Nicole Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will all be back for the vacation. Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola will be skipping out on the fun, which is probably in her best interest since Ronnie is having a baby with someone else and she has a new relationship of her own. It’s not what’s best for the viewers, but it’s definitely a good move for her personally.
According to an article from Entertainment Weekly, the cast wants to the fans to decide where they go on vacation. The viewers can send them suggestions via Twitter with the hashtag #JSFamilyVacation. The only place that they ruled out was the White House – which would be hilarious, but I understand why they would want to vacation elsewhere.
It is assumed that everyone’s significant others and children will be along for the ride since the phrase “family vacation” is in the title, but one husband who will not be a part of that is Snooki’s man Jionni LaValle. He shared a screen shot of a note on Instagram with the caption #IamWhoIam.
He wrote, “Hey guys, I’m going to visit this subject one time only so…. My wife is filming a scene packing up and leaving for her new show and I AM CHOOSING TO NOT be on TV because I simply DO NOT like it. Nicole and I are doing great and became even stronger together while raising our beautiful kids. HOWEVER you will not see me on her reality show. Being a reality star was never something I wanted to be when I grew up. ”
Jionni continued, “I own my own business and work hard at it, that’s what I do. My wife is a reality star and works hard at that, that’s what she does. We ARE not divorced. For the HATERS I hope this message finds you and confuses you even more about life and for the FANS of my wife and her show…. I got your back!!! God Bless Yas!”
Snooki commented on his post twice. I assume she meant to delete one comment and rewrite it, but they were both nice sentiments. She wrote, “I love you beyond words & so lucky to have you. As long as we know what we have, screw everybody else.” She also commented, “I love you more than words hunnie!!!! As long as we know what we have screw everyone else! You’re my world.”
