The Season 9 premiere of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills did not disappoint! It is great to finally know what is happening between Lisa Vanderpump and her mortal enemies the other ladies.
Lucy, the dog that was originally adopted from the Vanderpump Dog Foundation by Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley, is at the heart of the drama. Lucy supposedly bit PK (totally understandable) and their kids (not so much). Then, Dorit claimed that the dog was given to a wonderful forever home. So, the fact that the pup turned up at a shelter was a bit surprising. It was also shocking that Lisa insisted that Dorit would never bring a dog to a shelter. She claimed she was trying to squash the entire story before it leaked out.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is not going to be Lisa’s pawn this season. This accountability coach is feeling more confident. Now, she is close friends with Kyle Richards. These days she is all about speaking her mind. In her Bravo blog, Teddi discussed her feelings about the terrible loss that Lisa endured. “I must say that what Lisa Vanderpump has gone through with her brother’s death is unimaginable to me and I completely feel her pain when talking about it,” Teddi stated. “That said, Lisa chose to continue to be a part of this “group” and chose to do and say the things she did. I am responding to the situation at hand and reacting to the actions that she chose.”
During the premiere episode, Kyle and Teddi went to Vanderpump Dogs. The employees were not pleased with Dorit. In her blog, Teddi explained that John Blizzard, a Vanderpump Doga employee, did share Lucy’s story with Teddi previously. On the day that Kyle and Teddi visited, the director of the dog center, John Sessa, brought Lucy out. He seemed thrown off by Lisa exclaiming that she didn’t want to discuss it.

Later, when Dorit, PK, Lisa, and her husband Ken Todd dined together, Lisa told Dorit that Teddi was told about the dog situation by her “good friend,” John. Lisa, of course, didn’t share the information with Teddi. She would never! (snicker) Apparently, Teddi and John aren’t close friends. Teddi hadn’t told anyone, but Dorit is already spinning conspiracy theories about Teddi.
In her blog, Teddi wrote “So, I don’t know why it would behoove Lisa to exaggerate like that to Dorit. Oh wait, I do, but now is not the time for that.” Teddi is here to bring the shade to RHOBH this season. She is no longer LVP’s sweet little “Teddi Bear.”
“It’s like Lisa Vanderpump is saying one thing but means another. Kinda like how we see her lunch with Dorit, and she says she’s fine but then isn’t. Strange,” Teddi stated. “Anyhow, just some things to ponder and pay attention to as we venture into this season.” Ouch!
